Hi i have a problem, (an inconvenience really), with Windows XP and a SCSI Tape drive.
The drive is a Exabyte 8500 8mm drive (_really_ old but hey :) ).
The problem is that after i started using Windows XP the SCSI activity light on the drive flashes constantly.
I know this is because its constantly beeing polled for an inserted media becuse if i put a tape in it it will automatically show up in Computer Management\Storage\Rem.Storage\Media.
What bothers me is that the flashing light is kinda distracting :). So if anyone know how to change this behaviour I'd be grateful if they could tell me.
