Hi,
I had an internet connection problem.
I can't access internet through my proxy server.
I had checked with the following scenario:

1. Network Adapter on? Can detect network?
2. Proxy server ok?
3. Had set proxy address in internet connection settings?

But everything ok. I am able to view other's computer (network). I also able to detect my proxy server (by using ping command). I also set my proxy address.(192.168.1.1)
I'm using network address of 192.168.1.5.
However, when i open the browser, it immediately pop up the error stating that can't detect network or when I type an address on the address bar it pop up and error saying that Internet Explorer cannot search the page.....
can tell me why? Even I try to use Yahoo Messenger also fail.
Plz help me. thanx

Hang on... this is confusing...

So, you have how many machines?
How are you connecting to the outside world? Router etc?
Can you ping an internet ip? (ping 64.58.76.223 is Yahoo)
If not, try the traceroute command and tell us what you get (tracert 64.58.76.223)

Yoda... go and answer my post in After Hours club http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif
