i was installing win 98 se to a hd. everything went smooth until i started to update the viedo drivers. after that when the computer restarted the following message appeared "

"windows found an error in your system files and restored a recent backup of the files to fiz the problem. press enter to restart"

I press enter and the messages keep appearing one time after another and do not allow windows to run. is there a way to fix this without needing to reinstall the whole OS ?

THAN YOU FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND TIME

I Believe you can do a "SCANREG_/RESTORE" or a SCANREG_/FIX replacing the underscore with a space.
