Can't print from the internet

Help! I cannot print from the internet. I can print from any of my applications and I can print a test page, so I know my printer is working. While I am connected on the internet, and I want to print something from the internet, when I press the print icon or when I go to file and click on print, nothing happens. I recently downloaded IE 5.5. Is there a bug in IE 5.5 that prevents you from printing? I used to be able to print while connected. Any theories? Please give me some suggestions as there is material on the internet that I would like to print?

Could be a bug, you can check the Microsoft site to see if they have any patches released or info in FAQ.

Try this:
Highlight the text you want to print and right click on it. Click Print, in the print box that pops up look for a button on the left that says Selection Put a check in the radio button and click OK, see if that prints. That will print info without all the background garbage, ads, etc. All that will be printed is the text you highlighted.

You might also try going into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and run the internet repair tool, see if that helps.
