software question

I have a program that uses different documents that i store in a seperate document folder. How can I associate the document folder with the softwares open icon to automatically open the folder where i keep the documents? Now im having to click open , click C:, scroll down to the folder then double click it. Not really a problem but a little time consuming.

sorry i posted this in the wrong forum, just saw the " How Do I "
and posted here instead of the software forum. Will pay more attention next time.
