View Full Version : Windows 98 SE Control Panel Problem

I am not sure if the problem belongs in this category, but I'll give it a shot. I just loaded a PC with Windows 98 SE. I customized installation. Whenever I go to "Start - Settings - Control Panel", I get the following popup window: MMCPL | Unable to load language resources | OK . When I hit the "OK" button, the Control Panel comes up fine. What is causing the message, and how do I get rid of it?

Totally a stab in the dark...in the control panel double click on Regional Settings and manually set them. Maybe that is what is meant by "language resources". I will continue to search for another answer though.

I haven't found a fix, looked for about an hour yesterday, and all I could find was MMCPL refers to multimedia. [MMCPL] Specifies values related to the multimedia items in Control Panel.

Soon as I come up with all the answers...they change the questions!!
