I found out that the error I've been getting is from when I had and uninstalled AOL Instant messanger (AIM). The only problem is I can't get it to go away. First when I don't have AIM on my PC it gives me this DLL error and even when I do it still gives a different error. What do I do to make this errors go away?
If you have Windows 98 you could try running msconfig and disable any reference to AIM, if it appears there.

Friends don't let friends load Windows ME
Also check your startup folder there may be a shortcut to AIM there, delete it.

AOL makes lots of changes to the registry that are not undone when uninstalling it, same thing Netscape does. That leaves registry entries hanging around with no program to find, so you get error messages. Digging into the registry could be the only way to do it, but you can try booting to a command prompt using the [F8] key, and typing scanreg_/fix using a space in place of the underscore ( _ ) used here.
I've seen instances where the only way to fix leftover AOL problems was to reinstall Windows. That's a last resort, don't seriously consider it yet, it might not be necessary.
