PDF transfer problem

I would like to know how (If at all possible) to take an Adobe PDF file and transfer it to MS Word 2000 without losing any of the stucture or format of the original file itself. Any help on this would be appreciated greatly.

Only way I know is to purchase Adobe Acrobat (not the free Acrobat reader you can download) only problem is the software is several hundred dollars...

I think there is another software application made by another company that lets you play with pdf files, but I can't remember it at the moment...

For a really convoluted fix, you could print it out and then use OCR software to scan the printed document into a .doc format...
