I've had to reinstall my software. I've got a problem I'm working on (unrelated), thought I'd leave that and reconnect to the Internet. My ISP is British Telecom. I loaded up the BT CD, put my address and password in, clicked the 'Just Reinstalling Software' link and got an 'oops, something's gone wrong' message. (My address and password is fine - I could access via 'dial-up network'.) Anytime I pressed the Explorer icon I got this part-installed BT process though, so I right-clicked, selected 'view source' and got to a load of data, which I thought would be BT related and deleted. Now it won't connect at all, any way. At least the BT stuff is gone... I think it was the startup from the internet folder in programs that I deleted. Is there any way of just reinstalling Explorer and deleting any bits of the BT stuff?
(By the way, I've written this on my work PC.)
