nero burning rom, aspi manager

hi, im getting this error after i uninstalled nero burning rom. i was wondering if anyone knew what this meant and more how i could fix it.

Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager
ASPI support information was not found.


The Win-ASPI file '?.?' can't be found, therefore
you can currently select only image recorders

Please check for correct Windows ASPI Manager installation
of your SCSI-Host Adapter Software.

(Error 15: Mismatched components!)

You can update the ASPI layer at this link (http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/driverdetail.html?filekey=aspi32.exe). Read the caution to make sure you have the right version for your operating system.
