View Full Version : Word 2000 - Formatting Marks
In Word 2000, when showing formatting marks, I get small black squares at the start of some lines. I'm used to the paragraph marks and the space marks, but these black squares are new to me, and I can't seem to adjust lines which start with them. Can't find any references to them, either.
Can you help, please? Thanks.

Thanks sea69 - I've found that the square bullets displayed in the left margin indicate that one or more of the following paragraph formats is applied to the text:
Keep Lines Together
Keep With Next
Page Break Before
Suppress Line Numbers
A bit of digging to do to sort out what all that means exactly, but at least I'm on track now.
Cheers.
