Hi!
I am doing an assignment and I need some help with a question. Why should you disable any virus-checking programs before running the windows setup program?

The best way to find the answer for your HOMEWORK questions is to use a good search engine like "google".......by doing it this way, you will not only learn a bit, but you will take care of your homework on your own .... rather than have us geeks spoon feed it to you http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Welcome, doreen! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
In quite simple terms, the install process wants to access the disk
and create and copy files, while the anti-virus software wants to protect
the disk and prevent file creation. Good luck with your assignment! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
