Hi!
I recently rebuilt my PC, mostly just because, but I was also having a problem waking up the PC out of suspend. I eventually noticed (by hitting ctrl alt del once and then moving the mouse for a while) that it would wake up to the close program dialog box that one (or another) Norton System Works 2000 program was not responding. So anyway, when I rebuilt my PC, before the EVIL live update ran, the PC was working like a charm for about a week. Then BAM! Immediately after running live update, I had the same old problem. The Norton Techies don't believe me, but I KNOW that soemthing the live update installed is the cause. So I uninstalled, but you know how these programs are leaving behind who knows what. Well sorry for the book, but here's the question...Does anyone know why this happens? Actually, here's the second question...Does anyone know a way to track down the source to get it off. I really don't feel like typing...fdisk...format...you know the routine. Thanks alot for your help.....brianZ
