Outlook Express Problems ?????

Whenever I attach a single file to a mail message the file always gets zipped up into a zip file containing 4 files. One is the single file, 2 is file001.txt (this is what I wrote in the subject line, 3 is file002.txt (this is a HTML file), and 4 is Blank Bkgrd.gif. Can someone please tell me how to stop this. I even uninstalled Winzip and it still does it. Also, the single file is a very small file (20k).

Click Tools > Options, then click the Send tab.

Under Mail Sending Format, click Plain Text, then click the Apply button.

Thanks anyway, but that didn't work. Any more ideas???
