Run time error

I have encountered this problem 3 times in the last 3 days. I have started Internet explorer (2 different versions) (3 different operating systems)
And I get an error message that reads. Run time error has occured do you wish to debug. Line 12. error: syntax error. I have tried removing IE, and repairing IE, but to no avail. I click on no when it asks me to debug and I can go on my merry way surfing. Can any one please help me with this minor annoyance. Thanks all
