View Full Version : Windows ME
After upgrading from Win '98 to ME,
jpeg files don't play right (seem to drag alot)
Is it possible to re-install '98 without loosing
the songs, or is there a patch for ME??

Need more info on the problem because jpegs are picture files, not music. If you're talking about opening them, you may notice some "slower" with ME.

Sorry! I meant mp3. I'm trying to help a friend
so I haven't seen (or heard) the problem 1st hand
but I'm told the songs drag when she tries to play
them
Do you know if this was a full install of ME or the upgrade over 98?
Also what player is she using?

The installation was an upgrade,
She says she doesn't use a player ???
Then she is probably using Windows Media player...it may not have been updated or its configuration may not be correct for her current set up....

Windows media player, how can I say this nicely, SUCKS...
Try winamp, music match jukebox or anything else and see if you still have the problem...
