win98 logo screen

hi folks...

can anyone tell me if the windows screen that appears during start-up (win98se) is actually a file that can be copied and placed on another pc or where to find it on the harddrive?

The file is logo.sys, it is located in the Windows folder, it has the attributes R,H,S so it is a hidden systems, file that is read only. It is basically jus a bitmap file with a different extension, it can be changed to just about anything you'd like as long as it is of a particular size.
