View Full Version : re: IE5.5 toolbar setttings
I have tried many times to get rid of toolbars that clutter up my screen.
I use this option, view/toolbars/... and then uncheck the one I don't want.
However each time I start up IE it still starts up with these toolbars I have previously unchecked.
How can I make IE remember my toolbar settings?

Use customize, I.E. View/Toolbars/Customize and you'll see two windows and from there you have the options to edit what is displayed on the top of IE's browser.
I awlays remove the History and any of the bloated features that are unnessassary. ( for me at least)
Hope this helps some. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yes, but he says it's not saving the changes he made.
If you have TweakUI, check the option for "Save explorer window settings." Since IE is closely tied to Explorer, that may work.
