Trying to log on to The Times today I received this Problem Report:
"The system detected a Gateway Error while attempting to retrieve the URL. (Problem http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif Gateway processing failure; an error occurred while attempting to obtain the requested URL through the configured gateway (HTTP or SOCKS gateway).
(Possible cause http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif A gateway configuration problem or an outage may exist.
(Possible Solution http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif Contact your network support team and provide team your account information."
My computer is standalone and not networked. None of the other URLs is affected.
Question: What's causing the problem? My computer or The Times? Any advice gratefully received.
