Evening all (Well that's what it is here, anyway!)
Has anyone found that with DX8 it has trouble with some software back-compatibility? I had DX7 for ages then when I bought "Emperor: The Battle for Arrakis" it installed DX8. Since then A few of the older games on my system have failed to work. Eg: Rogue Spear. Any ideas here?
Another thing: DVD drives. I have two drives in my PC a 8x4x32 Samsung CDRW and a Samsung 16x DVD Drive. When I run Emperor it only works when I use the CDRW as the DVD Drive causes it to crash... strange eh? I have cleaned both drives with a CD/DVD laser lense cleaner and there are no conflicting software... More ideas?
