I have win 98se installed. When I first start up my computer, during windows opening I get this Message most times but not every time
(Wnad -This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists contact the program vendor)I then press the close box and get this message (APPLICATION ERROR -Exception EAccess in module XNAD,exe at 000428D26 in module `WNAD EXE`read of address 0089E840) I then press the close box and my computer operates normally as far as I can tell!
I have tried to delete this file from windows but I am told `I cannot delete Wnad: the specific file is being used by Windows`
How can I correct this problem or remove this file? Does my computer need this Wnad file? I have tried reinstalling Win 98 but it has not corrected the problem! any ideas?

Try here (http://www.cexx.org/osama.htm)...and you may have to delete it form DOS, use a boot disk, get to the a:\> prompt switch to c:\> by typing in c: at the prompt, then type in dir wnad.*_/s (with a space instead of the underscore)at the c;\> and then it should print a list of the wnad files found...then type del_wnad.exe...do this if the removal procedure form the above site does't work...
