pps files

Hello again. I recently received a program from a friend through e-mail, and I cannot open it. I have never heard of the ".pps" before, and I have no idea what to do to open it. I have tried all of my programs that are being listed in the little window that pops up when you try to open a program. I have win98se. I tried the microsoft website, with no luck. Not even a mention of pps files. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Ghost Hacker for the link, that is an excellent place to look for file extensions. And also thanks Snake-Eyes for the name of the program. The website listed three different program names for that pps file extension. But nontheless, I went to microsoft's website, and downloaded Power Point Viewer 97. It allows people without Office to view pps files. Thanks again.
