QuickTime control panel settings

Ihope to find a solution after days and nights.I absolutyly need for some of my cd programs Quicktime4.I deleted it unfortunatly.and I DOWNLOADED MANY TIME because a knew problem happened,and nobody on APPLE QUICKTIME answer me to this specific problem:
I open control panel,quicktime icon.a verywide and slim window is opened and transparent impossible to configure any setting ,can only shut down it
not to do a bigger or smaller window and not at all work with.
all others icons are ok on the control panel only tte Qtime one.please help me .and thank you and sorry for my ENGLISH.

Hi titi,

A little more info might help the folks, here, to help you.

What kind of computer are you useing?
Which operating system?

It sounds like you deleted the QT icon in the control panel. Is that correct? Deleteing the icon doesn't get rid of the program, just the icon.

To UNINSTALL the program go to add/remove programs in the controll panel. See if QT is listed there. If it is, UNINSTALL it from there. You'll have an easier time downloading a new version if the old one is uninstalled properly.

By the way, I think QT5 is out now. If you're going to download, might as well try the newer version.

need only qt4 to read some of my importants programs files.i HAVE THE ICON OF QT ON THE CONTOL PANEL.The problem is that when Idouble click to open it A WINDOW OPENED BUT TRANSPARENT AND EMPTY .IMPOSSIBLE TO DO ANY SETTINGS I need it to the video settings and wave out.
