windows 98 menu file association

Re: Windows 98 menu>accessories>wordpad, somehow wordpad is associated
with system information and appears on screen instead. file MSinfo32 under
C:\Program files\common files\microsoft shared\msinfo, any ideas on how to correct this. When i click under accessories>system tools> system information the correct system information file appears.

This is how you reset the "open file" association. (If I am wrong someone will post the correct instructions).

Easies t way is to create a shortcut onto your desktop for wordpad and then,
Hold down the shift key, Right click the icon, and choose OPEN WITH. Remember to select the Always Open with box.
