Anyone know if there is a way to install all the Clip-Art off the Office 2000 CD for Publisher so it is not needed everytime you access the ClipArt Gallery?

hey Fraelorn, I think you can just copy the clipart folder off the cd to your HDD. When promted to insert disk, I believe you can redirect it to that folder and then you are done http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
Some others here may be more familiar with this, so hang on a bit.

Thanks for the idea.. I'm working with a customer right now and I would rather not give them info to copy the entire clipart folder to the drive.. could get messy, but, I will keep it in mind..
Thanks again B-man.

Insert the Publisher 2K cdrom. If it doesn't autorun then browse to the drive and double-click setup.exe.
Select the Add/Remove Option and browse to OfficeTools and expand the ClipGallery Tree. There are two subcategories ClipFiles and ClipCatalogues.
By default, "Run from CD" is setup on these items and they display a CDROM icon. Click on these icon(s) and select "Run from My Computer" or "Run all from My Computer" from the dropdown lists depending on what you want moved to the HDD from the CDROM. Click "Update Now" when these selections have been made.
