hi stefanus,welcome to PC Guide.
i had probs with Debug on some sites.
if i remember righ the Debug pops up when Script coming in is wrong in some way shape or form.
1. is it when you start up your home page or when you log on to set web pages?
2. let the Debug run in background while your on the net.
others will come and help.

stefanus A few questions for you:
How do you connect to the internet? Dialup or Cable?
If Dialup, is it just via DUN or by using your ISPs software?
Or can you Dialup and then not access websites etc?
Are you on a LAN or using a standalone pc?
A debug prompt/message usually indicates bad underlying code somewhere.

Paul, Tiggy. Thanks for your very much appreciated replies, I comment as follows.
1)The debug pop-up appears when I try to log on to to any web site and work off line, the error reads, time has elapsed or similar No.630/280.I just cannot recall the exact error Nos and everything just hangs up.
2)Paul I have a stand alone machine. It is very frustrating to say the least

Maybe I haven't got it right; but you can't be logged on to a website and be working offline at the same time!
To view webpages offline there are a number of options. You can Add the page to Favorites and check "Make Available Offline" in IE when prompted; or you can "Save As" either WebPage Complete or WebArchive SingleFile; or you can use utility software to download sites. Then, when you are offline you can access these stored pages.
Or have I misunderstood you??
