MS Works should be listed in Add/Remove Programs....uninstall it from there.

you don't need to uninstall WORKS in order to install Office 2000.

you cana use both independantly of the other.

You will probably need your original installation disks to un-install works. Isert the disk as though you are installing and then choose UN-Install. (This is the way it works with Works99)

Same in 2002, ErnieK. I uninstalled all that junk so long ago that I'd forgotten.

Sean, I've loaded Office 2000 just fine but I can't seem to get my e-mail set up. I've copy everything over from Express (pop, smtp, and so on...) yet, the mail still goes to Express. By the way I never open both boxes at the same time and I'm not dialing up, have cable modem.
Any suggestions?

Tobias

Hi again,

I have never used Outlook enough to direct you except if it is similiar to OE, you would need to make the account you want to be your DEFAULT email, and delete the other one.

(account)

there should be a setting to make Outlook your default mail application as well.

I'm certain some of my fellow geeks here will have 1st hand knowlege of Outlook and be able to assist further.

ps- got your website request.
