nero 5.5 prob

I am trying to use nero 5.5 to make a vcd, I have done this in the past using mpg files but this file is an AVI file, now I dindnt think this would be a problem. but when I hit the "burn" button it says encoding video then says "not enough memory" this aint happened b4 and as for the memory thing I freed up about 400mb ram b4 running still got the same, my hard disk only has about 2gb free space on it (but I cant think how this would affect it ) any recommendations????

hi orisons, welcome to Pc Guide.

have you tried closing programs running in background, press Ctrl,Alt then Del, and this will bring up the close window, then close any programs/apps that are not needed. hope it helps.
