please help a greenhorn!

hey everyone- I downloaded mp3trim software for CD burning, but when I open it, it appears as a "foreign" language LOL, boxes, symbols, etc. I'm assuming my settings don't support it, or something along those lines. It comes up in wordpad format. Any idea how to fix this? Thanx

What is the file extension? Is it an .exe file?

no, Chris, its a zip file

If the file is a ZIP file.
then you need to Unzip it.
**Zip is a file compression algorithm used to reduce the file size.**

You should find a zip compatible program to extract the file(‘s) contained in the zip file.
Winzip ,, Pkunzip,, are the most common
