Outlook error

got this error evrytime i access the address book or want to insert email add when im sending email through Microsoft Outlook.

error message:
"Cant contact LDAP directory Server (81)" http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

my system runs on a win2000 and XP platform.

anyone here knows this?

lets see (81)is the code number for LDAP_Server being down. http://developer.novell.com/ndk/doc/ocx/ocx__enu/ref/nwidir/error_codes.htm

I would suggest contacting the server?

Server Down 0x51 81 · The directory server is down.
· The client cannot reach the directory server.
· The directory server is not responding. · Start the directory server.
· Make sure that the client can connect to the directory server.
· The directory server is not working properly, and needs to be diagnosed.

Outlook is trying to access an LDAP address book. Open your mail icon in control panel and remove the "Microsoft LDAP directory" if it's not needed.
