Hi all! I have a Creative CDRW 8432 with an ID string of Creative CDRW RW 8438E on Win2K system. I recently installed Easy CD Creator Platinum and got the "no supported drives detected" message during installation. I went ahead with the installation anyway, then downloaded and installed the update to 5.1 from the Roxio web site, and when I tried to make an MP3 CD, it got the "drive not supported" message. This drive does appear on the Roxio web site as being supported. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

If Easy CD Creator does not recognize your CD-Burner after rebooting also download and install the drive update by clicking here. (DriveUp_v51g.exe - 228 KB) - 5/13/02

Rick thank you soooooooo much for that file! Why the hell Roxio doesn't have that on their web update page is beyond me. I got the file installed on my computer and now the drive is recognized properly. I'm fully up and running and able to burn baby burn! Thanks again, Rick--I owe you the beverage of your choice http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
