Hello and Welcome Yashgoyal!

Could you post some info on the system that you want to start up by using the Keyboard. We need to know the make and model of the motherboard the type of Keyboard you have would also be useful information for us to help you in this.

This could be as simple as going into BIOS and looking to see if you have this option.

Yash go into the BIOS an you may need to look a around in Chipset/advanced chipset to see if you see an item Power on by keyboard it is most likely Disabled. Highlight it and enable it usually by pressing the + and - keys.

Save and exit BIOS.

If you do not find the enable power on by Keyboard, Post back with the Make of the Motherboard you have. IE ASUS AT7, Abit BE6+4.

Yash,

Did you buy this machine from a store?
If so do you know the make and model.

I'm checking into the How to tell motherboard question.
Maybe Pete or Randy could shed some light on how to identify the MOBO.

Will let you know.

Hey, just joined the forum, on my boards (Epox) you need to change a jumper setting on the board in order to enable the function, the function is disabled as default. After that, enter your biossetting and enable the function.
