whyzman: If you like brownies, you can come visit us. We buy the mix with walnuts, and then add some more..we figure an equal mix of brownie and walnut is just right.

Paul: Admitting ignorance and lack of class here, but what is "du jour"? Rings a bell, but don't understand context in your sig.

Soup du jour wasn't all that well thought out (I'm just too impuslive)!! I had thought of Citation du jour = Quote of the day but it didn't sound right.

Like some restaurants, my menu stays the same from day to day too!

I'll have to do some redrafting. :D

Kay,

I've watched in amazement as my wife picked out the walnuts from chocolate chip cookies (no she's not allergic)...and piled them up on her plate. At first I was befuddled...then realized that I could just pile them on top of the cookie I was eating! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Why would someone want to go through all the work of making the dough, adding the butter (margarine is such a waste) and not add the nuts?

Oh, speaking of that have you tried them with Peanut Butter added? YUM YUM http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Will keep the peanut butter idea in mind..sounds intriguing. Love Reeses, so should make a good mix.

You may find this difficult to believe, but one can overdo the walnuts. We got a bit crazed with the Xmas fruit salad..more nuts than fruit!..and it didn't taste as good as previous batches. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
