Thanks to the benefits of using Wine emulation i can now frag happily in my Suse distro.
:D
Have to say, it's nice to not only blow up strangers in foriegn cyberlands, but also to rub it in to them that it's being done from a linux console. :p

Alright! Enough already! :D
I'll be posting questions in YOUR forum soon enough as I have Mandrake 8.2 being D/L'ed by a friend for me tonight and am going to do a dual boot soon as i can. ;)
Meanwhile I'll have to see fit with the Boones Farm apple. :(

So how is that WINE working out? To me that's a big shortcoming with Linux the lack of game support.
Ok, you brought up WINE, why is it that WINE doesn't start until I log off?
Actually I think it is because I never bothered to configure it yet. ...but since you are braggin about fraggin :p

Check here http://www.winehq.com/download/ for the download; it takes a trick or two to get it configured with your fav window app-but when you get it up and running, it's pretty stable.
Only caveat i see is that linux is already a bit of a resource hog for most services, and with wine + a windows app running you better have at least 256 MB's!
Or better yet 1 GB of DDR266 like me. :D
