What is happening when the system freezes? Is it random or are you doing something in particular?

Check CPU temperature and open the case to see ift heatsink`s fan is working.

Heat is a common cause of system freezes. Is(are) your fan(s) working? Another common cause is when some connection is loose. Check the mouse first. All things should be checked exteranl and internal. It is not uncommon for things to work themselves loose over time. Any new softeware or hardware installed lately? New downloads?
