View Full Version : BIOS Beep Error Codes

I have ATC-6130 motherboard with Intel Chipset, & 64MB DIMM RAM, Intel P-II OPentium Processor with MMX and Award BIOS. I have continuously single long beep, I try to find out this beep error on different sites, But I haven't understand what is the problem. Pleaz help me.

Reseat the memory and video card a few times, see if it helps. The only thing I can find without an extensive search is thqat it's probably related to video or memory. One continuous beep could mean dead motherboard, but I tend to think if the motherboard is actually gone, it wouldn't be able to beep...

Not much is available about Award beep codes, it seems so many different versions are out there, all customized by the motherboard manufacturers it's usually necessary to get beep code info from the manufacturer. Several sites have said though, that anything other than the one or two mentioned were usually memory or video related. Try reseating everything a few times, see if it helps.
