I've got a Diamond Viper V770 Ultra AGP card in a Trinity KT motherboard w/ a 900 MHz AMD Athlon processor and 160 megs of memory. I know my motherboard supports AGP 4X, and my graphics card does as well. I've also enabled 4X in the BIOS, but my diagnostic software (from www.CPUID.com) (http://www.CPUID.com)) says my port is only running at 1X. There are jumpers on my card, but I set them to the appropriate settings and still nothing. What am I forgetting? Are there any settings in the operating system (I use windows 98) that I don't know about? Any help someone could offer would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Install the latest 4in1 drivers from VIA. When you do make sure you choose "turbo" for the AGP mode. (Normal is 1x)

Hope this helps http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
