I recently asked here if my 2000 Norton System Works could somehow run on XP. The answer was no, which is ok. Now I'm in the process of installing some games onto my hard drive (I just got a new computer a few days ago) and I see that my Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001 also isn't compatible on XP. Hmm, I fear that a lot of my older (i.e., couple years old) games might not work on XP. Am I wrong? Anybody else been through this (possible) dilemma?
One more unrelated question. When I put my PC GAMER demo disks into the CDR tray, I see at the bottom of the screen (on the taskbar) that they have loaded, and I even hear the audio. But when I click on it to bring it to the screen nothing happens. I can't get the screen up. I can go into Windows Explorer and access the contents that way, and if there's an autorun option there, I can click that and it works. But why can't I get the screen up otherwise? I'm still brand new to XP and no, I haven't done ANY research on it yet, so maybe I should look for the answer myself. Too late now, I've already typed it out.
Thanks in advance for help on either problem.
