View Full Version : The Registry

I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to edit the registry (or through other means) to make it so that when you double click on the time in the bottom right hand corner, the calendar comes up and you can look, but not edit.

If you're wondering, this is for use in a group policy across a company network.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Key

I'm using freeware which gives u a panel on the bottom right hand corner which has various info including time and date. When you double-click on this panel, it gives u a pop-up Calendar for the current month.
By the way, the panel color, day/date format, and typeface are user-variable, as are the resource meters.

You'd have to load the freeware, though. Can u do that at work?

Any interest to u?

The panel in question - minus the Calendar - can be viewed at present in the mess that is my morning's efforts in the Testing Forum.

Let me know if u want the link.

Wasn't hot that way, THIS (http://user.iafrica.com/d/da/dalen) is.

Seems to be a dead link, Mitch. I get a 'cannot find server error report' when I try it.

Got IT (http://users.mweb.co.za/d/da/dalen/) this time. after I copied it correctly and pasted it into the address bar. Thanks.
