it also reports this if your C- Drive isn't named.

when you want help with tests you took, you should always include the test RESULTS link so we can see and possibly advise.

Hi sea69 sorry about that got you now , as happens I found a link to the pcpitstop site where someone else questioned there results as he got bad readings too , the reply to that was the defrag tool on windows does not always do a proper job & would be better downloading another defrag prog , which I did called diskeeper after using this I tried the pcpitstop test again this time I a very good report , so all is now well .

Many Thanks IANUK

Hi guys-

Interesting.
Below, I ran the same "Disk Health" test that IANUK ran:

Drive C
Initial Scan Result OK. No crosslinked files.
Percent of Data Fragmented 3 %
Percent of Files Fragmented 2 %
Total Fragmented Files 295
Overall Disk Health Very Good. Low fragmentation levels.
Recommendations No action required.

I had a lot more "Total fragmented files" (295 as opposed to 225), but the "Percent of data fragmented" was much lower. Don't ask me what the point I was trying to make here. :)

Anyway, Sea - Your example test was interesting too. The one "Autofix" I ever ran was the "IE cache overflow" fix. (Some supposed "bug' in IE).
It's wierd that in your example, your max. cache is set to 22MB, but it's up to 41MB.
I had the same thing- Even emptying my cache, it would never get below around 4mb.
After I ran the "Fix" It went down to Zero.
Again, no real point here, just making conversation! :D

Hi cnm,

There's a discussion going on up in the Suggestion Forum regarding resurrecting old threads.

There was a suggestion set forth regarding threads that have been inactive for many months such as this one. Which in essence was, to begin a new thread and insert a link...

Perhaps not a bad idea...;)

Hehe...must have been one of those time warp things I've heard about! :D

If you happen to find some future posts in there would you be sure to email me? If we can tap into what's happening we can make a killing in the stock market and Powerball! :p
