Hiya,
I just formatted and am trying to install Windows 2000 Professional on my SCSI drive, but when I attempt to do so, I am constantly prompted to install "startup" (boot) files on my IDE drive... which, obviously, I don't want. I would like Windows 2000 to install ONLY on the SCSI drive.
Here's my setup:
-Seagate ST336704LWV Ultra160 SCSI-3 HDD (SCSI Channel 0)
-WDC Expert Series HDD (Primary Master)
-DVD Drive (Primary Slave)
-CD-RW Drive (Secondary Master)
-ZIP-100 Drive (Secondary Slave)
...So, how can I achieve getting the OS to install only onto my SCSI drive?? I'm guessing it mostly has to do with BIOS settings, and if so, which should I specifically have set - and to what?
I did it once before, but for some reason either my memory of the settings fails me, or it just isn't cooperating with me... but anyhow, I know it can be done! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
