I need a guide that shows where to connect the wires like hdd led and reset sw from the switch to the motherboard. I'm getting all of the stuff that I need to rebuild my computer tomorrow and I never really now how to connect those wires.

goober,
This kind of info is almost always found in the users manual for the MB. If you can, get the model name/number for your MB, go to the manufactures web site, and download the manual.
The pin diagrams should be listed in there somewhere.

If you are getting a new MB then you should get that info with the MB Docs. If you are transferring your current MB then the best reference would be to find the MB Manufacturers website and see if they have a manual for it.

Yep goober2003, it does usually show in the MB manual where they go.....HOWEVER, it has been my experience that it gets to be pretty much a guessing game as to which is (+) & (-) when connecting the leads to the MB! :(
Hopefully, the diagram will be straightforward! I don't actually know if the MBs are sensitive to which direction the power is flowing to these devices/switches. If the case speaker or Power or Reset don't work...then just reverse the connections as a first option.

Jumper settings for just about anything
Whyzman hit the nail on the head. I don't care how much it's documented on the manual. It's a trial and error process. What I have noticed is that all mobos tend to stick to some sort of standard.
And I'll forewarn you now- In all of my years of building rigs, YOU WILL GET ONE OF THESE JUMPERS WRONG! It's the code of geeks. Fortunately it's no sweat. Just pay attention to what your doing and press on.
TIP: When done and powering up for the first time, don't go ripping apart your power supply when the case wont juice up, I gaurantee that your problem will be right there with those pins!!!
GOOD LUCK!
