I am having a bit of trouble running Java Applets on XP. It is enabled on 'Internet Options' but am getting strange errors saying they are not enabled, any ideas?

even though Xp does not come with Java you can get it from either the Java site {Sun} or Cnet catch up services http://catchup.cnet.com/. This site looks at your computer and gives you updates. Also Microsoft update you can download an older version. One more spot is AOL 7 that gives you the option of downloading Java 2. On the catch up site you need some version of Java for them to be able to upgrade.

Actually, I don't think Microsoft has the java download anymore. But here's Sun's site http://java.sun.com/downloads.html

Hi Jumby,
The only reason I know about the Microsoft site is I downloaded their Java version by mistake, before I realized that it was outdated.
