Hi everyone ..

I have a question for one of you. Someone who has an ASUS mobo.
I'm trying to set proper freq settings on an ASUS A7V333-R . The CPU is an AMD Athlon XP 2100+ (1.73G). The mobo is set to "jumperless" . Under the advanced BIOS settings ... at the top , it is set to manual .
Below that is the multiplier setting. And next down says CPU/PCI. This is the one that has me confused. It shows TWO numbers there. Like 100/33 , etc. Now , I think that something on this list of numbers , times the mutiplier ; should equal the CPU speed. Or should one of these numbers be the the speed of the FSB , which is 266 .

PS. When explaining ... please remember that I am new at this stuff.

Thanks

Storm

Hi Storm....

Bus Speed for the processor needs to be 133. With
a default multiplier of 13X built in the CPU it hums
along at 1736 Mhz.

Ideal situation for CPU/PCI is 133/66/33.

RAM settings and timings are a horse of a different
color.
