my laptop once didn't boot. when i pressed the power button, hard disk's light blinked then the laptop was off again. at first i thought it didn't have enough battery charge or it wasn't plugged in, but it was!!! my boyfriend tried troubleshooting it. he tried opening the casing but it was too tight so he gave up. when we pressed the power button again, it was successful!! that was it. nothing removed or touched inside. after a month, it went to the same problem again. is there something loose inside??

Could be just dust/dirt. I had the same problem with my laptop's keyboard. Some of the keys weren't working and instead of calling tech. support to replace the keyboard. (this is what I normaly do) I just pulled the keyboard out, blew some air into it, and placed it back into the case.
Keyboard has been working ever since.
