Hello Guys someone messed up my old Toshiba Laptop. Now after dialing my ISP and password got verified it is immediately disconnecting with this messege
"Dialup Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of Network Protocols you specified in server type settings"

I have done so many things and I refer to all my other PC setting using same ISP. I even re installed win 98se but still the same. I also re format the HD and re installed the OS again. Can you tell me what could be the problem..

A Google search on -Dialup Networking could not negotiate network protocols- turned up a few interesting leads. (So I won't bother posting them here)

Some of the resultes are for Windows 95, but they might still help you out.

There are quite a few Google results HERE (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22could+not+negotiate+a+compatible+set+o f+Network+Protocols%22&sourceid=opera&num=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8); and do you have the actual DUN error number (you might need to click on the help button when the error occurs).

Also worth checking your modem settings and getting the latest drivers.
