Jiggy,
At first I thought this was just a yolk, and that this dude was cracked, but I see he was really serious! I'd be chicken myself to try such a stunt, eggspecially with a processor that doesn't throttle down like my T-Bird.
He probably could have sped things up if he pulled his rig from under the table and put it on a sunny side up close to a widow. I wonder if he'd do the eggsperiment over, easy on the brown sauce next time?
This heatsink eggsaggeration got me to musing about the age old eggistential debate regarding which came first, the chicken or the egg? Well, I'm gonna lay this one on you for your consideration...it was the egg! Why you ask? Because it simply eggsisted!
I'd like to eggstend an apology in advance for my eggstremely eggstravagant and over eggstensive eggsposition! No ovation please!
If you've an eggstra egg laying around you might want to follow my eggsample. If you position the egg on a level surface and give it a slight nudge which way will the egg roll?

Oh Nooooooooooo not again.
Wyzmn-You already know I think you're a good egg. Your puns, and the way you use them in poultry is truly eggstrodinary. An eggsellent story.
But if I've told you once I've told you a dozen times- You must stop this insanity. Oh sure, on the eggsterior I seem ok, but you're turning me into a shell of a man. My brain is fried. I've been sitting out on the poach wondering how I would respond.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not boiled over this, but there's a chicken the other room(my wife), that thinks we are both nuts.
Concerning the eggsperiment-
I feel that it was a total failure. I think he should have gone with dual processors and more tin foil.
A nice delmonico steak and home fries- Now that would have been impressive.
True, he would have to beef up his computer and there would be a lot at steak. But had it been a contest, he surely would have made it to the topround. He would be the guy that everyone would want to meat. I for one would have told him "well done". I doubt it would have been worth it though. In the end, he would have had to chuck his CPU's in the garbage.
Well, that's my opinion. And now, I think I will try to steer clear of this thread. :D

jabar,
Trying to recoup my thoughts here! I see you're from out East. Er, eggs was actually the original topic. You gave this poor guy quite a shellacking! Some folks have very fragile eggoes! Yes, on the eggsterior they might seem tough to crack. But, on the inside they are really soft and runnin' for the Kleenex.
My kids reminded me just yesterday about the dude who fell off a wall (imagery for an large eggo) and went to pieces, never could get himself together again. "Breaking up is hard to do!" Got a question for Laker's coach Phil Jackson, "Does Zen help when life seems to be a bit scrambled.
What eggactly is your beef with this dude? The meat of your argument seemed to be that it would be unwise to stake one's reputation on the egg? You gotta admit, his approach was eggsemplary, he eggsacted from an already eggisting system an egg sandwich.
If the guy was a personal friend, perhaps I might have nudged him in the rib, I might have grilled him a bit regarding his intentions. But, it was not an udder failure, and I sure wasn't going to coddle the guy.
jabbar, I would ovoid the beef thing altogether. You wouldn't want to wind up with egg on your face and have to hide out until the cows come home.

Wyzmn-
My beef is simply this. Suppose everyone tried this silly eggsperiment? Easter even enough eggs to go around? I mean, what eggsactly is the point? Being from Minn. ,esota thought you would understand.
At the risk of putting all my eggs in one basket, it just dozen seem to prove anything. Frankly, if this guy wants to be a hotdog, so be it. I don't care what he doz. En the long run, the yolk will be on him. He will be the one with egg on his face and in need of a new computer!
Sure, he eggstracted an eggsandwich from an eggsisting system. But if you'll notice in the photo, the egg dozen even fit on the bread!
It's obvious this guys got more dough than he knows what to do with. If I ever meat him, I'll let him know I think it's a lot of bull.
Gee..you think I'm being a little tough on the guy?
A little side note here- If I said "the meat is tough" when I was a kid, my dad would say-"It's a lot tougher when there isn't any".
At any rate, I'll let this eggsubject drop. I just wonder what this guys kitchen looks like. You think he has a word processr built into his stove-Or at least a heat sink? He may need it! ;)
Unfortunately, I have to eggsit this place. On my way to CT for a few days. Probably a good thing! HeHe
Talk to you later folks. :D

Although the content of this topic seems to be getting a bit mediocre, I have to admit it's really egging me on. As the my French hippie friend Roger said, "His computer eggstravaganza is totally fab!" Roger must be pronounced with a heavy French accent.
I digress. I really don't have a bone to pick with our computer egg man. Actually, this was quite an idea he hatched and he deserves receggnition for his achievement. He set out to solve an eneggma and did so admirably. Pretty much no out of pocket eggspence leaving his retirement nestegg intact.
What I have to say is a bit eggstemporaneous on my part, however the eggsperiment does not have ineggsplicable results. If a reggimen of heat is applied to an egg, even in small quantites, it will eventually cook. Doesn't seem like a whole lot to crow about, however if you candle his unique choice of an egg in light of other possibilities, ingenious!
I've been known to be a bit eggcentric myself. I once beat an egg, tossing it's remains high into the air at a family picnic. I know, a bit neggative on my part, call me a yokel! :) Wattle I think of next? Well, I've gone through this with a fine toothed comb, and nestled in amongst the possible outcomes, the eggsperiment could have been foiled. Quite dreggy thoughts to even consider...
Since the eggsperiment was a success, let's keep this on a positive note, "No harm, no fowl!"

Yes! I remember Mork-(My favorite eggstraterrestrial!) :)
In reflection-
You know, in my wildest dreams I never eggspected Jiggys posting of this eggsperiment to turn into such an eggshausting eggspedition.
It has eggsceeded my highest (and lowest) eggspectations. Eggsciting at times, but eggshausting too. None the less eggscellent-eggsquisite!
While taken to the eggstreme, it has allowed us to eggsplore and eggspand our knowledge of eggs-Quite an eggscursion. You might say we have helped some to become eggsperts. (pause....eggshale..whew)
I appoligize if we have taken this to the eggstreme, and at your eggspense. I know many of you would prefer this thread eggspire, that it would become eggstinct- Before you eggsplode.
I admit, it has become eggscessive. So with that, I will simply say....Eggsit....Stage left!!!

Wow Jabbar, we took quite an egg shelling from you there! With the plethora of two wage earner familes now-a-days, ease and speed of food preparation are definite concerns. I was impressed with your prefixed eggs, you may be on to something! ;)

Jabbar,
It may certainly be worth exploring your prefixed eggs. This is definitely a preggnant concept layden with possibilities. I would encourage you to give this idea Leggs. Oft times it's just in the how an idea is packaged that can determine it's success. ;)
It definitely beggs further consideration! :D
