Windows 2000 SP3 Available

The long awaited W2K SP3 has finally been released. To download go here
http://download.microsoft.com/download/win2000platform/SP/SP3/NT5/EN-US/w2ksp3.exe . Note this is a 124 Meg file, yes one hundred twenty four Megs. To view a list of bugs fixed in SP3 go here (http://www.activewin.com/win2000/sp3bugs.shtml) . It adds the Set Program Access and Defaults as proposed in XP. Also added is Automatic Updates into the control panel, disable it if you like in Administrative Tools/Services so no more calling home to M$.

wouldn't be any chance that a person could install this update and that would also take care of the other (2) prior ones as well??

in any event, I have saved it to CD.

W2K SP3 covers all fixes that where in SP1 + SP2. There is no reason to install either one, just install SP3 and you're up to date.
