hi stupot, welcome to Pc Guide.
find makers of your mother board and go to there web site or see if you can find any reviews on it that have used that card. or post back with make of your mobo you never know someone in here mite have the same mobo.:D

I think the likelihood that it will work is great, but just to be sure, check with the HP Web site. I used a live chat feature there recently that was helpful even with an old HP Vectra (and I do mean old).
Good luck,
Budfred

One other thing I forgot to say. You may want to add some RAM just to help things along. It can be had cheap.

Jiggy,
One thing on computers by major manufacturers, like HP, Dell, Geteway etc, it is very unlikely that there will be any info on the board itself. The best one can hope for is that the manufacturer has the needed info on their site. Often if there is a board model given it is not the same as the retail version. One of the problems dealing with proprietary systems...;)
Budfred,
If you forget something, try using the edit button inside the post to add what you wanted, instead of adding another reply....
stupot,
AGP or PCI...if the board has an AGP card in it already then almost any AGP card should work. If it has onboard video then most likely you would need a PCI card.

i have an amd 571 irongate motherboard.
No, you have the HP version of the Irongate...some differences from the retail...all HP mobos are that way.
And yes, any AGP GeForce3 card that supports 2x AGP should work on it.
