Now I've done it!
I was changing my cmos battery and I broke the metal clip that holds the battery in its holder.
What do I do now?

other will come.
have you tryed a strong metal glue, try a small elastic band around the holder then over the battery or a paper clip in its place mite do it.

no problem with that. you can always solder a new connection. Just make sure you dont short circuit the system. Dont burn it too...

The clip that you broke is the - (ground) clip. I broke
one and I inserted small straight pins around the battery
to hold it in place and to also act as a ground to the
battery holder.
Mboared mfg's definitely need to improve some of these
CMOS battery holders.

I managed to thread a twist tie under the battery holder and twisted it at the top to hold the battery in place and then I solderd the post that I broke off in place to make the ground connection. It's not the best repair job but it worked! Thanks to all for your suggestions.
